Build Your Foundation
Your introductory lessons provide a structured entry point to the Classical Pilates method. You will begin learning the classical order, become familiar with the classical apparatus, and practice the transitions that connect each exercise and keep the workout flowing.
STEP 3
Ongoing Programming
Continue building on the foundation established during your Welcome Package with private lessons, duet training, small group Pilates classes, or a combination based on your goals and schedule.
For best results, most clients benefit from 2–3 Pilates sessions per week.

No. Previous Pilates experience is not required. Every new client begins by learning the Classical system, including the exercises, apparatus setup, order, and transitions.

Karam Pilates offers a more individualized experience than a large, drop-in reformer class. Sessions use the complete Pilates system, including the reformer, Cadillac, chairs, barrels, mat, and additional apparatus.
Rather than following a preset class plan, your programming progresses according to your body and goals. Small group classes are limited to three clients, allowing time for careful instruction and individual feedback.
Wear comfortable, fitted workout clothing that allows you to move freely and makes it possible to see your alignment.
Please avoid clothing with zippers, buttons, or snaps that could damage the upholstery. Loose jewelry should be removed, and grip socks are recommended.

Kayla is a board-certified Physician Assistant and comprehensively trained Classical Pilates teacher who completed more than 600 hours of teacher training, including anatomy, program design, case studies, and an extensive apprenticeship.
