Medical Expertise. Classical Pilates Method.
Karam Pilates offers individualized Classical Pilates lessons for clients who are looking for more than a fitness class.
As both a Physician Assistant and Classical Pilates teacher, Kayla brings a clinical understanding of the body and how it functions to each session. Her approach includes neuromuscular retraining, helping clients improve how they move by building awareness, strength, and control.
These workouts support clients at every stage, from learning the method to refining an established practice. They can also help those returning after injury or surgery, navigating pregnancy and postpartum, or managing stubborn aches and pains.
Pilates is not a replacement for medical care or physical therapy, but it can be a thoughtful next step for clients who want to continue building strength and moving with more confidence.
Specialized Pilates Programing
Pilates for Strength & Support
For clients who want to build strength, improve posture, and feel more supported in everyday life.
Maybe your posture feels a little slumped, your back or hips ache more than they used to, or maybe you simply want to keep your body strong, supported, and moving well for years to come.
Classical Pilates strengthens the body from the inside out, improving core control and balance so you can move with more confidence and ease.
Pregnancy, Postpartum & Pelvic Health Pilates
For women navigating pregnancy, postpartum, pelvic floor concerns, hormonal changes, or simply feeling disconnected from their bodies.
Motherhood is hard enough. Your core should support you through it.
With my background as an OB-GYN Physician Assistant and as a two-time C-section mom, I bring both clinical experience and personal understanding to this work.
Classical Pilates helps your ever-evolving body reconnect to breath, build core control, improve pelvic floor awareness, and gain support for the body you live in now.
Athletic Strength & Movement Refinement
For clients who already lead an active lifestyle through strength training, fitness classes, or activities like biking, running, hiking, golf, tennis, or pickleball.
Pilates helps refine the strength you already have by improving control, coordination, alignment, and body awareness so you can get the most out of the workouts and activities you love.
